After breakfast proceed for Thimphu(7875 ft./170km/7 hours).And after a short drive visit Kharbandi Gompa to get a breathtaking view of Phuentsholing also the Indian plains. The valley of Paro contains a wealth of attractions. After the break fast proceed for the valley to get a view of the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong (18 km),which holds great historical significance also visit Kyichu Lhakhang ,one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Royal Kingdom. Visit Ta Dzong; once a watchtower built to defend Rinpung Dzong during inter valley war of the 17th. Century, which was inaugurated as Bhutan’s national museum in 1968. Visit Rinpung Dzong .A flagstone path rises gradually from a wonderful wooden bridge with shingle roofing and abutted by two guard houses, to the dzong.Today, The Dzong is the seat of district administration as well as the home for the monastic school.
